Let this wine sit a *little* more than 7 days, just didn’t get around to it.  The benefit is that the wine cleared nicely and does not need to be filtered!

First bottle just after bottling, not bad at all. Very fruity nose with apples and pears. Golden color, quite clear, did not need to filter this one. Some minerality, a little funny aftertaste but not the soapiness that we tasted in the young Cab-merlot, might be affected by the oak in this wine. Good flavors already of apples and hay with a little oak. This will be a very nice wine that will benefit from aging.
