It was HOT, even in the shade, but such a beautiful location.\u00a0 Everyone brought wine and a side dish, and John grilled up home grown and raised beef burgers &#8212; they were SO good.\u00a0 We got to taste a lot of wonderful Ramona Valley wines, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cactusstarvineyard.com\/\">Cactus Star<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.milagrovineyards.com\/wines\">Milagro Farms Winery<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ramonavalleyvineyards.org\/component\/sobi2\/?sobi2Task=sobi2Details&amp;catid=3&amp;sobi2Id=22\">Paccielo Vineyard<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaglesnestwinery.com\/Winery\/winery.htm\">Eagles Nest Winery<\/a>, and of course <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hellanbackranch.com\/id4.html\">Hellanback Ranch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There was a wine contest, with wines that were made in San Diego County from grapes grown in San Diego County.\u00a0 John and Paula presented first, second, and third place &#8220;horseshoe awards&#8221;
