Yep, I got a third wine kit.  It’s not my fault, I was browsing for other wine kits and places to get them, and saw this Estate Series Oregon Yamhill County Pinot Gris Wine Making Kit on sale ….  a premium wine kit ….  it needed a home!  But, today I’m wondering if some higher power is trying to tell me to slow down.  My yeast sure did.  I started this kit a week ago, and it didn’t bubble as much as the other 2 had.  When I check the specific gravity, it was at 1.03 – but it was supposed to be 1.01 or lower.  Bugger.  But, the good people at Winexpert came through for me again.  They said, don’t worry, it happens sometimes – give it a good stir and check it again in a week.  OK, so wait more is what you’re saying.  Good, that’s something new.
