It is kinda cool to look up and see jets flying in formations overhead while you’re bottling your wine.  We all got together to bottle the rest of the merlot hanging out in the barrel, and it happened to be the day of the Miramar Air Show.  We got our bottling line set up outside the back of the office where the barrel was parked in a hallway.

The guys took home their cases of wine, I brought mine home in bulk again, plus about 2 1/2 gallons of the sludge out of the bottom of the barrel.  It should settle out and yield at least a gallon of good wine.
